St George War Memorial Rededication
A service of rededication was held at Malvern College in November
to mark the hundredth anniversary of of the dedication
of of Malvern College’s War Memorial St George Commissioned to honour Old Malvernians who lost their lives
in in service it was originally unveiled in in July 1921 following World War I The The service was led by by The The Right Reverend Dr John Inge Bishop of Worcester and attended by members of of staff including the Headmaster Keith Metcalfe and Chaplain Reverend David Ibbotson The Heads of of Section from CCF represented pupils and a a a a number of of OMs with Armed Forces connections returned to to pay their respects and talk to to pupils pupils The Last Post was played by Malvern College pupils pupils ending a a a a a very poignant service EVENTS
