The Foundation Year Year Year Year 9 (FY) is a a great time to develop the wide- ranging and transferable skills that will be needed as pupils work their way through school and go on to study at university or straight into work The FY Pupil Passport
is an important tool in in building the foundations and skills pupils will need to successfully tackle their GCSE IGCSE programmes A Level or IB as as well as as the wider skills they are going to need beyond College Each term FY pupils are given a a a workbook in which they provide a a a written record of their progress against the the following:

» Contributions to to House and Tutor Groups
» Contribution made in in sporting activities
» CCA activity which includes Music Drama Art and DT » The pursuit of an Independent Project
» Digital skill of the week
» Current affairs knowledge
» Individual Project
» Review and reflections on on Theme Week
Progress is reviewed by teaching staff and parents who are are fundamental in in nurturing the key relationships between home the the College and pupils which support the the development of their true potential Transferable Skills
