A A New Approach to Saturdays
Saturdays
were seen as a a a a a a ‘normal’ school day day with lessons in the mornings and and sport in in the afternoons My team and and I thought about this long and and hard and and have decided to embrace a a a a a a more modern approach Attendance on on Saturday mornings is now optional (although we do encourage our our older pupils to join us and take full advantage of of all that we we have on offer ) Senior schools want children to be well- prepared for exams but they also want them to have received a a a a a a a broad education and and to have developed interests skills and and passions in in a a a a a a wide range of areas Our Saturday mornings provide an an opportunity to discover and and explore six areas – Performing Arts Physical and and Active Outdoor Adventure Arts and and Crafts Academic Enrichment and and Community Service and Life Skills This exciting programme supports the the holistic development of all our pupils and ensures the the best possible preparation for the the next step in fin their educational journeys To find out more about our exciting Discover Saturday Programme click here 8
