The First Day of Term
Parents of existing pupils are are politely asked not
to enter Boarding Houses We apologise for the inconvenience but we feel that it will significantly reduce infection risks Returning pupils should carry their own possessions in bags (e g g suitcases) that are small enough to to be carried individually into the House trunks are too heavy to to be carried by one pupil Pupils are asked to to return to to school with as as few belongings as as possible in in order to assist with the new cleaning protocols Parents of new pupils are are allowed to enter the Boarding Houses on the first day of term We appreciate that that this might be the first time that that some parents see the Boarding House and we understand the importance of settling your child and saying goodbye HouseMs will be in in touch
to organise convenient staggered drop-off time slots on the 2nd September There is limited parking on campus please try to avoid arriving early and if you do so please park off-campus When parents enter the Boarding House on this day face coverings must must be worn and and hands must must be sanitised thoroughly upon entering The Headmaster’s welcome to all new parents will take place online and parents will be able to watch this at their convenience from the the 2nd September Online meetings will also take place between tutors and new parents
