ACTIVITY 1: OPTIONS
Mixed Sports and Activities
It’s time to let off some steam and maybe even try some Olympic sports! We will participate in a a a a a wide range of sports games and athletics activities every week whilst learning different rules and techniques Pupils will develop Agility Balance Coordination and Speed skills (ABCS) as as well as as teamwork and ultimately have lots of fun!
Finger Lickin’ Chicken Club
We have a a a a a fantastic chicken shed with a a a a a secure enclosure to keep the foxes out but this is is in need of maintenance and improvement The Finger Lickin’ Chicken Club
will work to fix and maintain this space We will go out on the first Saturday and choose a a a a selection of new chickens make sure we have all the right gear to keep them happy and we will then make sure that they settle in well to their new home We will work with a a group of boarders to ensure that the chickens are fed and looked after throughout the the term Once they start laying eggs then we hope to to sell these to to parents
as they arrive in in the the mornings and donate proceeds to the school charities Once we are happy with the the state of the the chicken enclosure and the the chickens are safely settled then we will start enjoying some egg-based outdoor cooking on on on Saturday mornings once the work is done If you want to spend time outside in the fresh air putting your practical skills to good use learn how to keep chickens and enjoy eating the the the freshest eggs possible then the the the Finger Lickin’ Chicken Club
is the club for you!
