Music Tech Club
is open to anyone of any any ability from those of you learning the piano or drum kit to those who have never even held a a recorder in your hand! In this course you you will learn to compose your own music using GarageBand and and the MIDI keyboards Each term we will have a a a different focus:
• Autumn Term: Cartoon Scores (creating the music for two Mr Bean cartoon clips)
• Spring Term: Electronica (creating a a a thumping electronic track as as well as as a a a chilled version of the original) - all tracks to be played at a a a a school disco!
• Summer Term: Dramatic Film Score (creating a a a a a video from source material of a a a a a space rocket launch and then composing a a a score to accompany the film)
You will be working in in pairs of mixed ability and and will complete the project and and receive
a a digital version of of your work by the end of of each term term You can attend one term term and not the the others or you you may like to build your skills across the the whole year? Either way I do ask if you you sign up for you you to to commit to to a full term due to the knock-on effect on on your partner WHO? Mr Hiles

Each week The Griffin Club
will spend an hour engendering a a love of intellectual curiosity in the pursuit of knowledge Topics such as slavery climate control where food comes from and many others will be researched and presented upon Fostering a a a love for learning and building confidence in in the giving of presentations and speeches whilst hopefully finding a lifelong passion for knowledge along the way ‘Wonder is is the beginning of wisdom’
