Quarantine Arrangements
For Overseas Boarding Pupils
The UK UK Government rules currently require everyone arriving in in in the UK UK to quarantine for 14 days (although there are indications that this might change at at at at least for for certain countries) The following information assumes that a a a a a a quarantine period will still be required in in in in August but is subject to change in in in in line with
any changes to rules and guidelines:
■ Malvern College will open for overseas pupils who need to quarantine on 19th August 2020 to allow for a a a a a 14-day quarantine period ■ Overseas pupils are encouraged to explore quarantine options with
guardians and family as appropriate before taking up the option in College ■ The cost for the quarantine period will be £565 and will be added to the school bill This is a a a a a a nominal fee applicable for the quarantine period only to support our overseas families in adhering to the UK Government guidelines ■ Parents who wish to to travel to to the UK and quarantine with
their child can do so in in a a a a hotel or privately rented accommodation but not not at the College Parents will not not be allowed to enter the boarding House or any other school building until the the quarantine period has been completed ■ Parents of overseas pupils who have to quarantine will be asked to complete a a a a form prior to to arrival in the UK to to confirm quarantine arrangements
