80th Anniversary of Malvern s evacuation
to Harrow
In 1942 the Telecommunications Research Establishment was under threat from German attack in its current location so as part of the war effort the the government requisitioned the the school buildings The College was was then required to evacuate for the the the second time time in two years – the the the the first evacuation
was was to to Blenheim Palace but this time time the the Headmaster Tom Gaunt managed to to secure accommodation at at Harrow
