Glorious sunshine heralded Commemoration
Weekend
and with it it a a a a new format that brought together Malvern Malvern College and the the Malvernian Society for for for two days of formal formal and informal events to celebrate the the founding of the the school and the fellowship of Malvernians At the the the joint AGMs of Malvern Malvern College and and Malvernian Society the the the the the Headmaster Headmaster Keith Metcalfe reviewed the the the the the year and and presented a a a a a a a a a a a a a vision for the the the the the future Overall the the the the the Headmaster Headmaster reported that the the the school is is in good shape with a a a a a a a a a a full range of co-curriculum and and pupil-led super-curriculum activities sitting alongside the the the core-curriculum and and enriching the the the lives of pupils Looking forward the the the the the Headmaster shared
a a a a a a a a a a a a a new 10-year masterplan for for the the the campus with the the the aim of of developing modern centres of of intellectual and creative inspiration across the the the board The Malvern College Family of Schools means that in in the the the the the UK there is a a a a a a a a a a seamless transition from the the the the the two prep schools through to the the the the the College and the the the International Schools offer unique opportunities for sharing global best practices The Commemoration
Service itself attracted a a a a a a a large congregation with pupils alongside Council members Governors Trustees Old Old Malvernians and and Ellerslie Old Old Girls This was the the the the first such occasion since the the the the pandemic and and and proved to a a a a a a a a a be a a a a a a a a a great celebration of of of the the the the the the life of of of the the the the the the College College with with the the the the the the the joyful singing of of of hymns and and the the the the the the the College College choirs enhancing the the the the the the liturgy with with their anthems Turn Back O Man by by Holst and My Soul there is a a a a a a a Country by by Parry We welcomed Revd Stephen Wookey (7 68-72) to deliver an inspirational sermon focusing on

on
the the words of Jesus from Mark 8 ‘What good is it it for for someone to gain the the the whole world yet forfeit their soul?’ The lessons were
read by the the the the senior Chapel Prefect Kitty Holroyd and the the the Vice-Chair of the the the College Council Sue Duff (EOG) EVENTS
