pitch
The position of a single sound in the complete range of sound. High / low

The pace of the music. Fast / Slow

texture
Describes how layers of sound within a piece of music interact. Thick / thin

timbre
The quality of tone distinctive to a particular voice or instrument.
Example: bright, mellow

dynamics
The variation in loudness between notes or phrases.
Loud / Soft (piano, forte, crescendo, diminuendo)

The length of a note or series of notes. Long / Short

No noise. This can create tension in music.
