reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
When you happen to ask God for wisdom, you have just obeyed the above scripture, and God will grant it to you. Wisdom has its source and root in the fear of God. To fear the Lord is to hate evil, so the rate at which you develop the hatred for wickedness determines the rate at which you access his wisdom. Wisdom is essential for your dignified visions and dreams. You need the wisdom of God or you can’t survive oppositions going on in this world. Opposition in this world is too thick; so you need God’s wisdom at work in your life.
2. The fear of the Lord
Proverbs 15:33 (King James Version) says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and before honor is humility”.
