tree also, And the apple tree—All the trees of the field are withered; Surely joy has withered away from the sons of men.
Joy is a commanding force that enables you to live in peace in spite of all negative circumstances in your life. The realm of joy is the same realm where you will find the spirit of praise and worship. Why? It is because worship and praise in the absence of Joy are as good as nothing and a mockery of one’s self. Matthew 15:8-9 explains:
These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.
What makes your heart to be far away from God is when it is void of joy? It can’t connect with God. Stop! Go back and make things right with your heart until it is baptized into the joy of God; only then can you reach and touch the throne of God. During worship, it is not worship itself that gives you access to the presence of God, but joy built up in your spirit. A joyful heart is a vital tool for divine blessings in the sight of God. Joyous people are always worshipers and are always successful!
