Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls, Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
Joy is the highest level of faith! You don’t have to rejoice when things look good from the natural perspective. The joy I am talking about is that kind that enables you to shout for joy in the midst of adversity and trouble. So if you can rejoice in the midst of fire and trouble that is “faith in motion” at the highest level. Faith calls those things, which are not, as though they were.
Romans 4:17 says:
(as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;
Neglecting the subject of joy in your life is neglecting the journey of faith in your life. Without faith your destiny is in trouble and bound to fail! Joy connects you to the realm of God. Even a sacrifice offered in
