It is normally said that not all that glitters is gold, but all gold glitters. That is what I call the “law of distinction.” The law of distinction helps you to understand that though things may look alike, that does not mean that they are alike. So, not all power that you see today is power, but only the power that comes from above! The Bible wants us to understand that the only power is the power from heaven. The Apostle John once said:
A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven. - John 3:27
