spiritually. People miss the “move of God” whilst sleeping spiritually! Paul talks about the same thing in Ephesians 5:13-15:
But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. Therefore He says: Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.” See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise.
Paul is probably not talking about physical death, but about spiritual dullness or idleness: failing to discern the presence of God! The same thing happened to Jacob: he missed the presence of God or divine timing: angelic hosts visited him but he was asleep physically. I pray that shall not happen and that you do not miss God’s divine visitation. It is God’s visitation that culminates in signs and wonders. Genesis 28:16 says:
Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.
