When you learn how to operate in God’s peace, everyone else may be sad, but you will enjoy abundant life; you will be bursting into laughter for gladness of heart. Peace is a must to keep your life in order and sharp. That is why God has promised us peace from everywhere in scripture. For example, we are clearly told in Isaiah 66:12:
For thus says the Lord: Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, And the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream. Then you shall feed; On her sides shall you be carried, And be dandled on her knees.
What does that mean? Peace is God’s ultimate plan for you and me in all its ramifications and existence. God’s peace is unbeatable and invincible, and it prevails wherever it is discovered and declared. Peace is God’s covenant plan for his people wherever they establish themselves. Giving you peace is number one on God’s agenda. It is His greatest priority and holy desire in all his existence as the Father of all spirits and nations. He is absolutely committed to it! Confusion is not on God’s calendar or agenda for your life and future (Jeremiah 29:1).
