Chapter 17: Divine Blessings
We are clearly told in Proverbs 10:22:
The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.
So, the blessing which is also empowerment to prosper has the ability or power to uproot sorrow off your life or environment! The number one mistake that many people, even believers today, make is that they take all their lifetime trying to be rich. Look at this, since it takes the blessing to be rich, so you should rather take all your time to discover what it takes to walk in the blessing, and then the blessing in return will freely make you rich without sweat. Proverbs 23:4 says “Do not overwork to be rich; Because of your own understanding, cease.” So, the only acceptable labor is the one to discover what it takes to walk in the blessing, not the one to be rich!
