You see, you can’t afford to live without the reproofs of the Lord. They are essential for your life. God has corrected me many times, and if I respond to his reproofs as quickly as possible I earn myself great honor in every aspect of life. God may reprove you using his people, sometimes through that inner feeling, and sometimes it may be by divine instructions from his word or just an audible voice.
Submission to Prophetic Instructions!
Moses was obedient to God and accessed a realm in the spirit where he naturally obeyed whatever he was commanded, even if it meant nothing. His business was obedience. Many people term Moses as disobedient because of striking the rock two times. Moses was a great man of God: that is why he appeared on the Mount of transfiguration with Elijah when Jesus was with his disciples.
It is God’s business to judge the prophet of God, but to me he is my role model and general in the Kingdom of God. Moses was a man of the Spirit and wisdom of God. The wisdom of God never operates in the disobedient. So Moses was a man who obeyed God’s instructions. Exodus 17:8-12 clearly narrates to us that:
