was to get the healing before obeying the instructions. Many people are doing the same: they want to see the glory without obeying the instructions. I think by this time the Jordan River must have been dirty and stinking, but still carrying the healing presence of God. The water may be stinking, but it does not matter, as long God is in it I will always drink it or bath it. What God says is final!
Divine Instructions vs. Total Attention
2 Kings 5:11:
But Naaman became furious, and went away and said, “Indeed, I said to myself, ‘He will surely come out to me, and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, and wave his hand over the place, and heal the leprosy.’”
When it comes to divine orders your opinions do not matter. They are actually irrelevant in the sight of God. What he says and commands you to do is what matters the most. That is what holds your future! Look at Naaman’s carnal and selfish opinion. What can you advise God your creator? It is a sad thing that a lot of people are doing that and they don’t know it. 2 Kings 5:12 continues:
