God that cannot lie is the biggest message here! He remains forever faithful and his faithfulness is eternally settled in the heavenly places; it is inde- structible and without end and who can comprehend it? He is too faithful to be unfaithful-He is the same the same yesterday, today and forever. No one can change that: it is a fixed deal.
Hebrews 6:16-18:
For men indeed swear by the greater, and an oath for confirmation is for them an end of all dispute. Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.
Again Hebrews mentions above that God cannot lie. It says it is impossible for God to lie — that is now forever settled that what he says is in the heavenly places. God sticks to what he has promised to his people over many generations from the beginning of time.
Then Numbers 23:19 says: 314
