Understanding the Divine Secrets
What is faith failure in all its ramifications?
Four Definitions of Faith Failure:
(1) Faith failure is a point in life where your faith becomes extremely weak to a level where you can’t stand on the Word of God, a point where you have no more hope of living again (Romans 4:18-19). A few years ago I stepped into a house of a critically sick woman. This woman suffered from cancer. She was a Christian; however, because of the sickness which she had had for two years, she lost hope of living again.
She said to me, “Pastor George, better I go to be with the Lord.” As I looked at her, my spirit was against that statement because I wanted her confessions to be positive and in line with the promises of God’s Word concerning long life (See Psalm 91:14-16).
(2) Faith failure is a point in life where you feel like somebody should live for you or on your behalf. In September, 2006 I happened to talk to a young man from New Zealand living in Australia. He said to me, “Pastor George, sometimes I feel like somebody should live for me.” He also said to me that there were
