Prayer is not a fun fair or just a ritual practice, but it is a weapon of war! It is saying back to God what he has already said in His word. It is a principal tool for deliverance and breakthroughs in times of calamity. Prayer is the only way to engage God into your human or spiritual affairs. Prayer is a mystery that gets God on the scene for your rescue from satanic oppression and humiliation. The Queen of Scotland once said that she feared the prayers of John Knox more than all the army of Scotland put together.
John Knox was a man of prayer. He was God’s general when it comes to effective praying—he used to spend hours upon hours in prayer. Prayer is an effective tool for destiny establishment. Every generation is established through sacrificial praying.
