Leveraged Income
This type of cash flow is probably the fastest to develop as it is not based on amassing large amounts of money over time, but on leveraging your cash flow based on people. For example, in our previous scenario to create a cash flow that would last 12 years at $5,000/month you would need $1,000,000 invested, which for the typical person could take decades to accumulate with a savings plan.
LEVERAGE YOUR TIME Your Time 10 hours + 20 hours + 30 hours + 40 hours + 50 hours + 60 hours Total Time 210 hours
Leveraged income of that amount is frequently created in five years or less. In 1982 in Sunrider® I created income in that range in one to two years.* Like any financial endeavor, some do it faster, some slower, and many do not keep on task and never make it.
Where linear income or a job is trading your time for a certain amount of income, leveraged income is duplicating your time through other people who would like to do the same. Essentially you build a distribution network of people where you leverage time. So, if you put in 10 hours/week in creating leveraged income, and you bring two other people into your network who each put in 10 hours/week, you have leveraged your 10 hours into 30 hours/week. In the illustration if your two new people bring three additional
people into your network, you have leveraged your 10 hours into 60 hours/week.
Some say Einstein said that compound interest is the most powerful force in the world, where you earn money on your earnings. There is some doubt Einstein actually said it, which doesn’t make it any less powerful.
An equally powerful concept is leveraging money through debt. The most common is a mortgage on a home. You invest $10,000 of your money and leverage yourself into a $100,000 home with $90,000 debt. If your home increases $10,000 in value, you have earned 100% return on your money. However, the reverse is also true, if your home decreases in value by $10,000, you have a 100% loss. Leveraging money through debt can give you phenomenal returns or losses. Leveraging with debt must be used with prudence.
Leveraging your time with other people is a low risk way of leveraging to create cash flow and can be the most powerful way to utilize the concept of financial leverage. Sunrider® offers this type of cash flow creating system.
