Our family joined Or Chadash over 15 years ago. Caryn and I had been looking for a very special synagogue that was welcoming and caring and a great fit for our family and we found this with Or Chadash.
The congregation had a very special, inviting feel and we found this to be an outstanding opportunity to provide a Jewish education for our children Ben and Sophie. Our children enjoyed Religious School at Or Chadash under the leadership of Betsy Zalaznick and it was very special for them to grow and develop their Jewish Identity at Or Chadash through religious education and life cycle events including B’nai Mitzvah and confirmation.
Personally, I’m proud to have been on the temple Board for over 10 years and to have served twice as Temple President. I’m grateful for our temple leaders, our Rabbi, our staff (including our cantor) and our fellow congregants. Or Chadash has been the light that drew us closer to this very special congregation, and it’s important that a Legacy Program exist in order for this “New Light” to attract and inspire others in perpetuity
