Soles 4 Souls. The Epsilon Gamma Omega Chapter (EGO)
collected gently-worn shoes from various community partners throughout the Huntsville / Madison County area throughout the year. Members of EGO met with the community partners to establish collection sites and develop flyers (those partners that did not allow their logos to be replicated and posted were provided a generic flyer) that would be posted to ensure that persons knew about the collection. Dates that shoes would be picked- up were also established. After the collection of shoes, they were transported to UPS and shipped to Soles 4 Souls. Upon receipt Soles 4 Souls, a non-profit organization, processed and shipped the shoes to destinations around the world that are populated with people of color. Receipt of shoes collected were emailed back to the chapter Basileus to use for comparison of our records.
