Q. When did you begin your real estate career, and what certifications do you have?
A. I’ve been in the industry a long time now. I started in real estate back in 1992. I’ve worked hard over the years on my continuing education to make sure I am always current and have the right skills to attract clients and provide them with outstanding service. Over the years, I have achieved the following professional designations:
Associate Broker License Accredited Buyer Representative Certified Negotiation Expert Certified Residential Specialist Corporate Property Specialist Graduate of the Real Estate Institute
Q. When did you begin your RE/MAX Career?
A. I started with RE/MAX in 1995 and have never looked back. I have been with the same office, RE/MAX Classic ever since.
Q What areas do you service?
A. I service Western Wayne and Oakland Counties.
Q. Receiving the Diamond Club award is a huge accomplishment. What is your secret to success?
A. I have a great team. I show up every day, work hard and don’t take no for an answer. My leads come from what I call market presence which is made up of direct mail, signs and exposure on the internet. My team also gets referrals by putting our customers first and doing our best to exceed their expectations. Happy clients send new business!
Q. What advice would you give to other RE/MAX agents in our region to keep them motivated to rise to the level of success you have, even in a market that sometimes can be challenging where inventory is low?
A. Work hard and show up every single day. To quote Floyd Wickman, “You need to get people signing stuff in order to make money in this business whether it’s a listing, purchase agreement or price reduction.” I am also a big believer in having something to work for, goals to work toward and having lots of things on the calendar to look forward to.
Q. What do you like best about working for RE/MAX?
A. It’s the number one real estate company in the world with fantastic name recognition. I also like the independence and freedom it allows me. In addition, it’s great to have a broker like Carol Boji who has your back and is always there for you.
Q. Where do you have your Diamond Club award displayed? A. I have it displayed in my office. Being able to see it
everyday provides a sense of accomplishment and pride.

In addition to receiving the prestigious Diamond Club Award, Jamey also received awards for #8 in Top 10 Teams for Transactions and #2 for Top 10 Teams for Commissions.
