Deposits
$2 per person to enjoy the exhibits and simulators during regular business hours. This fee will be charged to your invoice. We ask that you provide an alphabetized list of your guests that want to enjoy our center prior to the event.

Your date will be guaranteed once your deposit is made. Deposit is 100% of the room rental fee, $500 security deposit and if applicable, $100 alcohol fee. If no damage or additional fees are assessed to the Outdoor Adventure Center, the full security deposit will be refunded within 4-6 weeks after your event. Make checks payable to: State of Michigan. Mail payments to: 1801 Atwater St., Detroit, MI 48207, attention Jackie Hoskins. We also take cash and all major credit cards, with the exception of American Express.

The Outdoor Adventure Center does not offer catering service, however we do have a list of preferred catering companies for
• All audio & visual equipment in our inventory • Round 60” tables (8 chairs each)
• 5 x 2 rectangle tables
• 6 x 2 rectangle tables
your food and beverage needs. If you decide to use a vendor who is not on our list, the company you use must provide a current certificate of insurance, valid ServSafe, National Registry of Food Service Professionals or Prometric certification and valid health department license. We must have confirmation of these certifications thirty days (30) prior to your event.

There is a $100 fee for including alcohol service with your event. Your servers must show valid TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) certification and driver’s license. We must have confirmation of these certifications thirty days (30) prior to your event.

We have free parking in the black gated lot on east Atwater, across from the Milliken Marina. Your guests may also park at any
legal street spaces.
