Dear RE/MAX of Southeastern Michigan Family,
We are more than half way through 2017 and I know that all of you have been working hard helping your buyers and sellers achieve their dreams. As we closed out second quarter, our numbers show that our associates have been working harder than ever.
We continue to lead in market share, and saw an increase in total commissions, volume and transactions over the same time last year. It is because of your hard work and expertise that our region continues to trend in the right direction. Thank you!
With the addition of advertising on more television channels, the :60 real estate reports on WJR, and our exclusive real estate sponsorship with HBA’s Parade of Homes, I’m pleased to say that our 2017 advertising campaign is more powerful than ever. Our data showed a significant increase in traffic to the remax.com website during our heaviest months of advertising in March, April and May as well as an increase in visits to this site
over the same time last year. Our efforts are keeping the RE/MAX brand name top of mind with consumers when they think of buying or listing a home.
As an extension to our advertising, we continue to position ourselves as the real estate experts in southeast Michigan with our broad public relations efforts. I am pleased to announce that starting in June we introduced the creation of the monthly housing report. This report has already received print coverage from DBusiness, The Macomb Daily and Oakland Press, as well as live interviews on WWJ.
Finally, a continued thank you to all of you who have donated to the Children’s
Miracle Network through the Miracle Home System through second quarter. We continue to celebrate our 25th anniversary of our partnership with CMN with our 25th Anniversary Campaign, and I encourage all of you to mark your calendars for October 11th as we celebrate with a 25th anniversary party at the RE/MAX Communication Preschool. Contributing to CMN is a great way to help kids and families as well as your business. Our goal for 2017 is to raise $125,000 for the RE/MAX Communication Preschool Program.
