Dear RE/MAX of Southeastern Michigan Family,
As your CEO and Regional Owner, I’m proud to say that 2016 is a great time to be with RE/MAX of Southeastern Michigan. Not only did we end 2015 with number one market share in our region, but we ended the year with nearly 900 agents in our membership (a 10% increase over last year), six new franchise sales and four franchise renewals. As our region continues to grow, our agents also continue to lead in commissions, closed transactions and sales volume. Check out the statistics on page 5 to see what an average agent in RE/MAX of Southeastern Michigan earns. I’m sure you will agree that it is a great time to be with RE/MAX!
And speaking of impressive statistics, our 2016 advertising campaign is bigger than ever. Our outdoor billboard and SMART bus super tail campaign includes as many as 60 billboards and
nearly 250 buses branding the RE/MAX name throughout southeast Michigan. That is three times more boards and over four times more buses than our 2015 campaign. We are excited to say that not only will consumers see our story this year on billboards and buses, but they will have a chance to hear it as well! Starting in March, we began running live announcement reads on CBS radio station WWJ as well as running television commercials during the morning news on stations WJBK, WDIV, and WXYZ. These initiatives are going to generate approximately 1.7 billion consumer impressions in southeast Michigan. You can learn more about our advertising initiatives on pages 6 and 7 of this newsletter.
We are also excited to continue our personal billboard and “How Hot Air Rises” co-op programs in 2016. Baker Middle School’s testimonial on page 9 on the “How Hot Air Rises” program, proves how much the schools in our communities love this program, and how easy it is for our agents to integrate this into their personal marketing efforts. For even more ideas on how to get creative with your marketing
strategy, check out the story on page 14 to see how one of our agents has turned her passion for home health and wellness into a viable marketing tool for her real estate business.
And finally, thank you to all of you that donated to Children’s Miracle Network through the Miracle Home System in 2015. Because of your generosity, we more than tripled our contribution from the year before, with a total amount of $43,734.59 donated to the RE/MAX Communication Preschool. Our commitment to this partnership is stronger than ever in 2016. Be sure to look for more contests and initiatives coming from the region throughout the year.
With an exceptional advertising campaign, continued co-op programs and training initiatives in place to make you more successful, I am confident that 2016 will be another great year of growth and impressive statistics.
