Did you know glaciers once covered Michigan? The effects of glaciers in our region still can be seen today. Join us to learn more about glacial landforms and glacial movement with a fun activity.

Gain an appreciation of Michigan’s wonderful winter wildlife when you visit any of our three featured interactive exhibits of the day! Each exhibit will feature information and hands-on learning, or a fun craft or activity.
Astounding Adaptations
It's getting cold outside ... but much of Michigan's wildlife sticks around all winter long, despite the freezing temperatures. Some animals even come here just for the winter! Learn about some winter wildlife and the adaptations that allow them to survive Michigan's snowy season.

Could you sleep all winter? Some animals do... and it’s not only bears, you know! Visit our Hardy Hibernators featured interactive exhibit to meet some Michigan wildlife that snooze away the winter season and learn just how they are able to do so!
