Family Hikes – Let’s Explore
FIVE-WEEK SERIES, BEGINNING THURSDAY, MARCH 23 9:00 – 10:30 A.M.

Get outdoors this spring with the family and explore our wonderful Michigan state parks!
Our hiking series begins at the Outdoor Adventure Center on March 23 with a 30-minute information and discussion session, including tips and tricks for hiking Michigan’s state parks with little ones. Then we’ll gear up and hit the trail! After March 23, hikes will begin at the destinations listed below, not at the OAC. Preregistration required for each hike.
Participants will receive a DNR Stamp and Go Guide at their
first hike, and a stamp for each park visited during the Family Hiking Series.
Week 1 – March 23 – DNR Outdoor Adventure Center and Milliken State Park in Detroit Week 2 – April 6 – Maybury State Park in Northville
Week 3 – April 20 – Proud Lake Recreation Area in Commerce Township
Week 4 – May 4 - Algonac State Park in Marine City
Week 5 – May 18 - Sterling State Park in Monroe FEE: $5 per family PREREGISTRATION REquIRED.
