SPECIAL EVENTS
 Homeschool Hangout: An Academic Adventure
THURSDAY, MARCH 2 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M
Bring your young scholars to the Outdoor Adventure Center for a fun and educational experience! This event is designed as an opportunity for homeschool students grades Pre-K through 8th to enjoy the Outdoor Adventure Center while participating in programs by grade level. During this event, the building will be closed to the public. Preregistered students and their families may explore the Outdoor Adventure Center exhibits and participate in programs from 10:00 A.M-1:00 P.M.
Children must be registered as “Students” under the appropriate grade categories to be eligible to participate in programs designated for that grade level. Individuals registered under the “Non-Student” category will not be admitted to programs due to space constraints but may still enjoy the OAC exhibits for the duration of the event. Programs for this season’s Homeschool Hangout will focus on birds.
FEE: Included with the price of admission. PREREGISTRATION REquIRED. ONLY THE ADMISSION FEE IS CHARGED AT REGISTRATION.

Community Open House
THURSDAY, MAY 11 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
Come on down to the Outdoor Adventure Center for the Community Open House! This is an opportunity for you to meet our area community groups while learning about many social, leisure and educational programs they offer.
