Senior Stroll – Riverfront Rambles
Join a naturalist for a casual stroll along the Riverfront and through Milliken Park. Every other month, we’ll focus on a topic related to natural or cultural history. Wear your walking shoes and dress for the weather – we’ll go out rain, snow or shine!

Ship Building & Freighters
The Great Lakes system has long served as a highway to transport people and goods. To support that industry, Detroit became a hub for ship building and an important port city. Learn more about freighters and the ship-building history of the area, including the original use of our own Outdoor Adventure Center!
