National Lighthouse Day
Michigan boasts over 100 light stations (individual lights or complexes of multiple buildings) - more than any other state! Many of these structures are still keeping our lakes and rivers safe. Find out more about how lighthouses function and where you can see some local structures. At 2:00 P.M., join us for a short hike to Milliken State Park to visit our closest light station.

Hummingbird and Monarch Migration
These tiny flyers can travel thousands of miles to their overwintering sites. How do they do it?! Explore the marvels of migration and find out how you can help these long-distance travelers.
