THURSDAY, AUGUST 11 7:00 – 10:00 P.M. Nighttime Animals on Belle Isle!
Join us at the Belle Isle Nature Center for a series of outdoor nighttime animal explorations. We’ll take a hike to look for resident bats, listen to the calls of summer insects, attract moths to observe up close, and more!
*This is an offsite event taking place at the Belle Isle Nature Center. A Recreation Passport is required for entry to Belle Isle Park

SATURDAY, AUGUST 27 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Bat Hike at Maybury State Park
Join the Outdoor Adventure Center and Explorer Program staff at Maybury State Park to learn about our flying mammals, bats! During this program we will explore bat biology, their habitat, and ecosystem benefits they offer. The hike will be an hour and half on paved and unpaved trails.
This hike is recommended for ages 8 and up.
