THRILLING THURSDAY
Our family-friendly free evening of fun is back on Thursday nights! We will offer free admission from 6 to 8 p.m. for all our visitors. Each event will feature a specific topic with special programs, plus guests will enjoy all the regular exhibits at the Outdoor Adventure Center. When you visit, you can also earn digital badges through Detroit Public TV’s Digital Adventure Program.

Wetlands are important not only for wildlife, but for people too! Join us to learn about the plants and animals that call Michigan wetlands home, and explore our own wetland at Milliken State Park to observe migrant birds, calling frogs, and other wetland flora and fauna.

Corn is a top agricultural commodity in Michigan. In fact, it is a top agricultural commodity of the United States! Maybe that is why there is a ‘National Corn on the Cob Day’ in June. Join us as we celebrate this versatile veggie by learning about ways to cook and enjoy it outdoors!
