RE/MAX of Southeastern Michigan
Dear RE/MAX of Southeastern Michigan Family,
It is an exciting time at RE/MAX of Southeastern Michigan. As we closed out second quarter, we continued to lead in market share, saw an increase in total commissions, volume and transactions over same time last year, and reached 68% of our contribution goal to Children’s Miracle Network giving us a total of nearly $35,000 in contributions to the RE/MAX Communication Preschool program. It is clear that RE/MAX of Southeastern Michigan is trending in the right direction!
Our 2016 advertising campaign is still going strong as we continue to brand the RE/MAX name on billboards and SMART buses throughout southeast Michigan. Our data shows a significant increase in traffic to the remax.com website during our heaviest months of advertising in March, April and May, as well as a significant increase in comparison to 2015. This is proof that our efforts in 2016 are keeping the RE/MAX brand name top of mind with consumers when they think of real estate.
And speaking of advertising, summer is a great time of the year because we have one of the most recognized symbols in real estate – the hot air balloon consistently
flying over venues like DTE Music Theatre, the new Jimmy John’s Stadium and events such as fireworks and summer festivals. The balloon is a great extension of our advertising campaign as it is truly a moving billboard in the sky!
Additionally, we received some great public relations in the first and second quarters, getting numerous mentions both in print and on television. We strive to spread the good news about RE/MAX and position ourselves as the real estate experts through our public relations efforts. Our coverage included news articles on award winning offices from our Awards Gala, new office grand openings, office rankings from the Real Trends Survey and school balloon events. Additionally, we were interviewed by Comcast News Makers and Channel 7 News about housing trends and buyer tips for first time home buyers.
Finally, a special thanks to all of you that contribute to the RE/MAX Communication Preschool program through the Miracle Home System. In addition to reaching 68% of our goal at the end of 2nd quarter, we recently held a very successful Christmas in July event in which some of our offices stepped up to donate much needed educational items and toys to the preschool. What a great way to show we are committed to our partnership with Children’s Miracle Network. Since August is the month of miracles, I encourage all of
you to consider becoming a Miracle Agent. With an annual contribution of $500.00 through the Miracle Home System, you gain Miracle Agent status giving you access to Miracle Home sign riders, the use of the CMN Miracle Agent logo and more. Cause marketing is just another great way to help your business grow while our region helps the children at the RE/MAX Communication Preschool program.
I’m confident that our market share, production, advertising and charitable efforts will continue to keep trending in a positive direction as we move through the rest of 2017. I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together in the second half of this year.
