 Adaptive Softball League - Clinton Township Pirates
American League
This league is for persons 12 and older with developmental or physical impairments. The American League is for players with limited playing ability including: the need for verbal and/or physical assistance to participate, limited ability in picking up, catching, hitting and throwing the ball. Each and every player bats regularly and plays in the field every inning.

National League
To sign up for this league you must be a returning player to the National League or invited to advance. This league is for players with fair skills in hitting and fielding the ball, good physical mobility and balance, possess coordination of movements to run, ability to attempt to field the ball, know to raise glove to field fly balls or place glove on the ground to field grounders. Games are played with 10 players on the field at a time. Balls and strikes are called. If players are eligible to play on able bodied teams, they are not eligible for this league.

Home games and practices will be held at the Clinton Township Civic Center diamond on Romeo Plank Road, south of Canal. Away games will be played in Warren, Grosse Pointe, Shelby Twp., Sterling Heights, and St. Clair Shores. Practice will be held the last two weeks in May on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Games will be held on Tuesdays from June to the beginning of August. Practices and games will begin at 6:30pm.
A field trip and banquet at Jimmy Johns Stadium will also be scheduled. Additional costs apply. The registration fee includes a uniform, umpires, trophy and players vs. coaches game Registration deadline is Thursday, April, 14 2022.
Additional cost may apply pending a scheduled field trip and banquet.
Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Training
This class covers Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED and is taught by certified American Red Cross Instructors. This class is ideal for everyone, including parents, grandparents, and educators. When you finish, you will have knowledge in handling real-life emergencies. Certificates will be mailed when approved by the American Red Cross.
