Farnsworth Farnsworth was a a a a a a nominee for the the 2019 Women in in Technology Technology Award through the the the Technology Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania in the the Art and Design division Thomas Green Green (‘72 IE)
Green Green retired in in 2019 after 36 years years with GM/ Delphi one-year practicing law and eight years years consulting as TJGreenLLC Leo Funk Funk (‘16 IE)
Funk Funk has received a a a a a a a a a promotion to become a a a a a a a a a finance manager at at Amazon com com Inc He will be be relocating from Carlisle Pennsylvania to Nashville Tennesee Karan Arora Arora (‘16 M S )

Engineering alumni society wins award for dedication to student programs
In recognition of its job shadowing program the Penn State Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Alumni Society (PSIMES) received a a a Penn State Alumni Association (PSAA) Volunteer Volunteer Award Award at the PSAA PSAA Volunteer Volunteer Awards Banquet in October 2019 The program gives industrial engineering students an opportunity to spend a a a a day with an industrial engineering alumnus or alumna Students gain real-life experience receive career guidance learn about the skills needed
to to be successful in in in industry and gain direct access to to networking opportunities that can lead to potential employment On Oct 18 PSIMES accepted the Ned Brokloff Endowment for Alumni Association Affiliate Group Award for Innovation marking the third year that PSIMES has received an award award from the PSAA Previous awards received by the the organization were in the the categories of “Membership” and and “Fellowship and and Networking ” ” PSIMES was established in 1998 as as an affiliate program group of the Penn State Engineering Alumni Society PSIMES works to stimulate the continued interest
