The Linkage of Suvarnabhumi, China, and India
Dimension 1: Geography and Natural Resources
Due to its landform - a peninsula between two major oceans of the world, Suvarnabhumi is a land bridge that separates the West and the East. Its location, near the equator, results in a tropical, moist climate with monsoons blowing through the area. It is a region with abundant land and water, natural resources, including minerals, precious gems, products from the forest and the sea. This area is, therefore, a “golden location” of the world- one that has been sought by people far and wide.
The integration of all countries in the area into the ASEAN community has connected geographical features and further developed the area. The project includes both communicative and physical networks, which help expand tourism and trade opportunities in the ASEAN economies.
