Examples of sources of information that may be helpful for those experiencing insomnia or taking antidepressants include the NPS MedicineWise,11 beyondblue,16 as well as from allied healthcare professionals (e.g. psychologist).13
Insomnia can be an exhausting experience, as can living with a mental illness.Patients who require extra home support while waiting for appointments with other allied healthcare professionals should be encouraged to contact crisis support services such as Lifeline Australia (Phone: 13 11 14) as and when required.13
