Dr. DiPaula applauds, appreciates, and encourages participation in student activities that develop leadership skills, communication skills, cultural values, enhance the learning process, improve attendance, and are integral to the success of the Hammond community and its extremely diverse needs.
His encouragement and involvement in Music and Dance field trips, Theatrical productions, and Visual Art events to promote the importance and value of a balanced academic curriculum, and the opportunity to go beyond cultivating talent, gaining valuable life skills, promoting a sense of pride, and belonging to Hammond.
Not only is he a champion for the Arts, but he equally he celebrates the Robotics Teams’ creative inventions, Science fair projects, GT Mentor projects, our It’s Academic Team, and our incredible Culture Fest celebration; a full day of song, dance, food representing the many different cultures and countries that make up the diversity of our student population!
As a former coach at Hammond, Dr. DiPaula recognizes the importance of athletics, but even more so the role that a coach plays in the lives of student-athletes. Dr. DiPaula has hired qualified coaches to create an environment of healthy competition that emphasizes the value of teamwork and sportsmanship.
Dr. DiPaula is the epitome of a team player. He is highly involved in all the school activities and leads by example whether it be spirit week, ugly sweater day, or donning the gear of Performing Arts programs, Hammond Athletics, or Purple Fridays!
Through his participation, Dr. DiPaula instills a desire to continue lifelong learning, accepting challenges, taking risks and accomplishing a high degree of success for both staff and students.
