JAMUL & DEHESA
This is truly beautiful country with mesas, hills, valleys, boulders, parkland and lakes. The lots are large, the houses too, and the neighbors like their wide open spaces. Jamul’s got a post office and an elementary/ middle school and some stores and lots of horses. In Dehesa, there’s golf and the nearby Sycuan Casino and Resort.
LAKESIDE & SANTEE
Lakeside and Santee stand at the eastern edge of town and are bordered by slopes, lakes and mountains. The San Diego River runs through the community, which was once a dairy farming area. With its suburban, child- filled neighborhoods, these two communities focus on family. Santee residents can ride the trolley to Mission Valley, Downtown and the Mexican border.
