Closing Your Escrow Continued
What Happens Next?
If you are obtaining a new loan, your signed loan documents will be returned to the lender for review. The escrow holder will ensure that all contract conditions have been met and will ask the lender to “fund the loan,” If your loan documents are satifactory, the lender will send funds directly to the escrow holder. When loan funds are received, the escrow holder will verify that all necessary funds are in. Escrow funds will be disbursed to the seller and other appropriate payees. Then, you’ll receive the keys to your home!
