The Stables
The Stables, constructed in 2004, is adjacent to the original site of the Harrison Hall Stables, the same of which General Lee’s horse, Traveller, stayed while Lee was recovering from his injuries. This versatile two-story, 2,500 square foot building contains as impressive four bay garage with wash station on the first floor – a car lover’s dream! The second floor holds abundant possibilities with flex space to be utilized for business enterprising, an in-law suite, or an income-generating property as it is equipped with kitchen and two full baths.
In 2009, the Carriage House and Stables were awarded the Signature of Loudoun Design Excellence Award. Given by The Loudoun County Design Cabinet, this award uniquely defines and recognizes Loudoun County’s architecture and iconic communities.
