3 Synopsis
Study Title
Community Creche Expansion Project (CCEP)
Study Objective
The purpose of the CCEP program is to expand and enhance the current continuum of care to provide culturally-relevant, evidence-based substance abuse, co-occurring substance abuse/ mental health/trauma treatment and recovery support to all participants.

USA (New Jersey, Essex County)
Intervention Components
Participants will be administered the following intervention components over the course of four months in-residence at Isaiah House:
-Motivational Enhancement Therapy (12 sessions) -Seeking Safety (26 sessions)
-Family Behavioral Therapy (15 sessions) -Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Model -In-kind services to children
-Case Management (6 sessions)
-Intensive Outpatient (IOP – 3 sessions weekly)
Study Population
250 low-income women, age 18 and over, who are pregnant, or postpartum (defined as the period after childbirth up to 12 months), and their minor children age 17 and under, who have limited access to quality health services.
Inclusion Criteria
Women must be:
-18 years of age and over
-Pregnant or postpartum (defined as up to 12 months both
childbirth) - Low-income
