The properties were auctioned off by Petter Schultin on June 26, July 24th, and August 21th, 1775, and a deed was issued on August 24th, 1776. Ac- cording to the city engineer Salomon J. Orngren on August 5 of the same year, a measurement was carried out and the boundaries were stated as ”the entire area of Tompten including the stairs on the street” at 5,449.5 square alnars or 121.5 kappland.
