  My story
My outer walls date back to the 15th century, and I started life as a part of the living room of one of the most prominent residence of Malmö. I later became a part of the grand boudoir/bedchamber of the Danish Princess Leonora and her husband the traitor Corfitz Ulfeldt. In the year 1660 they planned their escape, in the rooms adjoining, and most likely spoke, many a time, about how they committed a grave mistake by turning against their own country. After Leonora’s and Corfitz demise, I was used as the bedchamber of such prominent public figures as the various governors of Skåne and the then different Mayors of Malmö, to mention a few.
Later, 1905-1946, I became a part of Malmö public library. After that, I was turned in to a part of the ballroom that is adjoining, only to be tuned into a billiard room, later a piano lounge and then a coffee lounge. But in 2017, my owner found a picture of how I used to look back in the mid-1930s, short there after I once again became a library. We hope you like it.
