THE HORSEMEN’S BENEVOLENT AND PROTECTIVE ASSOCIATION OF ONTARIO
NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)
TAKE NOTICE that an Annual General Meeting of
the Horsemen's Benevolent & Protective Association of Ontario (hereinafter referred to as the “Association”)
will be held in Rizzo Banquet Halls, 1941 Albion Road, Rexdale, Ontario on Thursday, September 28, 2006 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. for the following purpose:
1. To approve the Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held September 29, 2005;
2. To report on the activities of the Association;
3. To receive the report of the auditors in respect of the audited financial statements of the Association for the year ended March 31, 2006;
4. To appoint the auditors for the Corporation;
5. To receive the by-law change(s) recommended by the HBPA Board.
6. To formally introduce the successful 2006 election candidates who will serve as Directors for the term 2006 to 2009.
7. To transact such other business as many be required by law or these By-laws to be brought before the meeting
