Anderson’s Wild Rose Farm TOBA Winners
One of the Thoroughbred breeding industry's highest honours came to British Columbia last month as Bryan and Carol Anderson's Wild Rose Farm was awarded the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association award as Outstanding Canadian breeder for 2006.
The TOBA award is given each year to a breeder who exemplifies excellence in the thoroughbred indus- try.
Wild Rose Farm has been breeding
racehorses for 20 years and was British Columbia’s leading breeder in 2005.
The award, the first for Western Canada, was voted on by a commit- tee of CTHS membership and pre- sented to the Andersons in Kentucky in September.
"You spend a lot of nights out there in the barn wondering what you're doing there." said Andersen "Winning something like this, you realize why you do it."
